Recyclability - SAVE $$$

Big one. All waste material is taken to the landfill, where it either gets dumped & processed with most ordinary junk, or is taken to a specified recycling location for various items such as metals, electronics, motor oils, cardboard, clean fill, and more.

 

Now, this is the part that many junk removal companies will withhold from you. Since recyclable items are not subject to dump fees, your total charge for the haul can be cheaper compared to ordinary junk. Check out this example: say, I ripped out 4 yards worth of dirt from your old garden. Although a trailer full of clean fill can reach as much as 10,000 lbs in a single load, with us, your total charge for disposal can be as low as the price of approx. 100 kgs, or about a quarter of a trailer load of ordinary junk, - all because it’s a recyclable material!

 

Same goes for any other recyclables. Help the world stay greener, while keeping the $$ in your pocket, - sounds like a pretty good deal!! 

Weight of Material

While it may seem like we can make your junk magically evaporate, sadly, it is hardly the case. Most of the ordinary garbage we haul is taken to a landfill facility, where the cost of disposal is based on the weight of the material. Heavier the load = pricier the dump fees. Since we need to cover bases on our ends, the weight of the material will be reflected in the quote provided. For example, a piano, - while it may only occupy less than 1/4 of a trailer space, - can weigh north of 1,200 lbs depending on model. This could easily be equivalent to the weight of about 1/2-trailer worth of ordinary junk, or more. Because piano is an extra-ordinarily heavy item, this consideration will be reflected in the quote.

Labour

 

All junk removal charges above include 30 mins of labour, which is usually plenty of time for us to dispose of your items. Additional labour charges are billed at 100/hr, in 15 minute increments; this normally only applies to hard-to-get-to areas, large walking distance between junk location and trailer, the need for material sorting in junk with mixed-in recyclables, and other circumstances where relocation of material from a place of storage to a trailer would take longer than normally expected.

Disposal of extraordinarily heavy and bulk materials requiring a Skid Steer loader will see an additional eqiupment surcharge  @ 125/hr for a 2-hour minimum in addition to other fees.

Distance

There are no additional distance fees charged for junk removal services within the CIty of Saskatoon. Jobs in outlying communities such as Warman, Martensville, RM of Corman Park, etc. will be charged an additional 1$/km accumulated starting at the city limit line.

What We Don't Do

There is not much we can't do! We do, however, take safety of our staff and customers seriously. With that in mind:

- For your privacy and comfort, we do not enter residences and as such, we do not advertise as a residential clean-out or decluttering company. Kindly place your unwated items in the garage, backyard, back alley, front yard, driveway, curbside, deck, or other accessible space where we can efficiently move items from point A to point B without extra hassle to you! No dirty bootprints, no dings in the walls, - all work is done outside.

- We do not haul unknown, unmarked fluid containers; hazmat; medical and human waste; explosives and ammunition; items that are not recyclable at ordinary disposal facilities; asbestos; big loads of roof shingles; rodent, bedbug, or roach infested items; any items that can pose a hazard to the operator, vehicles, equipment, or the environment; or any other items at the discretion of the operator.
